Friday's Update

There just really isn’t much to talk about today…sorry.

In downtown news:
An update on Green Square
A nice summary of everything happening this weekend

Company’s Coming (in Cameron Village) has closed.

In Raleigh news:
1705 Prime is closing – but only to become catering

They let Gretchen Wilson graduate high school… and she’s kicking off her tour in Marion, SC.

    The Why

    Some time ago I started perusing local blogs and media in pursuit of news and happenings in Downtown Raleigh. Being native [for all intents and purposes] and spending all my time in and around Downtown, I was always eager to share things I found with people whom I forcibly decided should care.

    Over the months, that very short list of people I emailed when I found something has grown longer and turned into a daily occurance with a variety of tidbits. This is mostly here to archive those daily emails.
