Today is the last day to turn in your voter registration

In downtown news:
The Moore Square Farmer’s Market opens next Wednesday
The Sir Walter Raleigh will not be turned into a hotel after all
Rocky Top is offering cooking classes again

In Raleigh news:
Big Boss Brewery gets a spot in the TBJ – and in other Big Boss news, they will start distributing on the coast
The Clayton bypass will open a year early
NC State fishes better than UNC. And other clever things… (thanks Matt)

In local-ish news:
Wilmington makes CNN for $.35 gas… (thanks Geoff)
This class took its kids to a brothel
The ‘Fighting Pickles’ may become the UNC School of the Arts
