Ohhh, and as it turns out, Canada is mostly English. 60% of people are English speakers (23% are French). In fact only 15% of people claim France as their heritage.
In case anyone from SW LA was confused…

-CHAIRMEN OF THE BOARD is at Nelson’s tonight. See you there. It is rain or shine (if it rains they are going to tent the whole parking lot)
-It is canned food day at the fair.
-Junior League’s Shopping Spree! Starts today.
-Sam Fisher (lead singer of Weekend Excursion) will be at Amras again on Sunday
-The Old Reliable Run is coming up soon (Nov 11)
-There is a wine tasting in Moore Square the 27th of October
YAY THURSDAY!

An update on the North Blount Street Project
A tidbit about Hue
Carolina Brewing Company is taking over South End So, we lost our South End Brewery to Prime Only a year or so ago, but the one is Charlotte (which remained up until now) is being transformed into a new restaurant/brewery. Carolina Brewing Company brings us Carolina Pale Ale, Carolina Blonde, and a multitude of other things.
Be a better drive until Friday
They are cracking down on passing school busses.

Monday News!
Lots of stuff today! I hope everyone had a great weekend!
A new tower downtown!
Who sues the MS society??
Want a 50-foot ferry boat with twin 225-horsepower outboards?
Another reason to avoid the fair
Junior League’s “Spree” starts this week
Teach for America expands into local schools
I want a 300 year old cannon!!
Silly TI…you cant buy machine guns…
A case against facebook events…
I love tequila lunches!
Since I have a disproportionate number of friends from Lexington...
-Don’t forget, Thursday is can food day at the fair and Chairmen is at Nelson’s!
-For those who know him, Bill Duff’s car which was stolen by his co-worker was found haha
-A reminder to visit Dan and Amanda at their corn booth at the fair. They will both be there Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights. It is in the middle by Dorton and the fountain thing. Apparently they have very good corn. “Hills Corn Stand”, and they have 6 different spices for your corn that has been dipped in a vat of butter. [Dan paid for this spot].
And lastly, though maybe most important…a fantastically inappropriate Ari Gold moment to get through your Monday with….
Hope everyone is surviving their Monday!
